World War 1 day
30th Apr 2018
Primary 6 & 7 travelled to Armagh today for an information day on World War 1. We started off in Palace stables where we learnt all about the countries involved in the war and the weapons used. It was such good fun acting out with the guns and dressing up in the gear!
We then went onto Armagh museum where we listened to and learnt more facts about the war. We got to see lots of exhibits of equipment used in the war.
This event was organised in partnership with The Loughshore Family Action Project and the school wish to thank SLNRA for their continued support.
