The children have really cemented their love for reading this week after completing a range of book related activities.
They began the week by discussing their favourite books and authors and sharing these with the rest of the class. This was followed by a book quiz to test their knowledge of stories they have read this year.
Then there was lots of excitement when the chidren tried to guess what character they had each been given, by using a range of questioning skills.
On the day the children dressed up as a character from a fairytale / nursery rhyme / traditional tale. This year the children were tasked with recyling things at home to make their costumes. This was at the request of our dedicated Eco Team.
The day was finished with the children choosing some new books in our recycled book sale.
