The Primary 6 and 7 children were delighted to come into school today all dressed in their pyjamas for our school Pyjama Day to celebrate World Book Day 2024!
We took part in lots of fun activities today to celebrate World Book Day as a whole school.
We listened to "The Magic Harp" by Declan Carville, and took part in activities around the book. The P6/7 children acted as role models when they became reading buddies to the younger children in the school and read their favourite book with them. We also took part in a Book Quiz where we competed in teams to test our knowledge of our favourite books. Lastly, we rounded off our day by having a cosy reading session in the hall with some hot chocolate and treats.
