As part of the Wetlands Project, P5-7 had the opportunity to visit a local boat maker, Pat, down at the Maghery Business Centre. Pat told us some tales about boats and their history on the Lough. We used the words and inspiration to write our Loughshore poems with Martell. Some poems were recorded and played on the local radio! It was a very enjoyable project.
