Visits from Secondary Schools
11th Jan 2024
The Primary 6/7 children were pleased to welcome visitors from various secondary schools in the local area to chat with them about their particular school and the experiences they can expect when they transition to big school!
The talks from each of the schools were very informative and we were even lucky enough to hear personal stories and ask questions to some of St. Mary’s Primary School past pupils about their experiences in their schools.
The children learned a lot and are beginning to get excited about all the open days and taster sessions to come!
A big thank you to Miss McAlinskey of Integrated College Dungannon, to Mrs Leathem and Mrs Murray of St. John the Baptist College, to Mis Donnelly of St. Patrick’s Academy, Dungannon and to Mrs Denvir of St. Patrick’s Grammar School, Armagh for taking the time to speak with the P6/7 children this week.
