In November the P5-7 classes visited Greenisland Nurseries, a local horticultural business owned by Mr Shane Donnelly, Lucy and Mia's daddy. We were able to follow the planting and growth of some of Greenisland's most popular products. We learned how the lettuces and tulips were produced from seedlings and bulbs and can't wait for our Tesco 'Farm to Fork' trip to actually see some of these Greenisland products on the shelves!
