Visit from Lough Neagh Biodiversity Team
9th Feb 2023
The Primary 4 and 5 children were lucky enough to have a visit from Biodiversity Education Services. The children were taught about the local birds of Lough Neagh, their environments, predators, prey and how to protect their habitats.
As part of the morning everyone had a bird call to recreate, in order to find their flock. They also became swallows and were picked off, for different reasons, during their migration from Lough Neagh to South Africa and back.
Thank you to the Biodiversity team. The children had a fantastic morning.
