Viking Courtroom
We set up our own courtroom to decide whether Vikings were Raiders or Traders. Half the class gave arguments for Vikings as Traders and half the class gave arguments as Raiders.

· Large amounts of silver to trade with came from their country of Scandinavia · Risk free option for earning money · Traded all over Europe · Used coins throughout the Nordic countries · Sold honey, tea, walrus tusks · Bought silver, silk, spices, wine, jewellery, glass and pottery · Traded in England, Scotland and Wales · Were fishermen and sold fish · Traded West of Newfoundland |
