The day had finally arrived and the hard work had all been done. The team from St Mary’s Maghery and Birches P.S took to Peatlands Park today for their plant sale. The boys and girls were in competition to see who could make the biggest profit. I’ve yet to know the result!
The shrubs were beautiful and everything was gone within the hour. Miss Robinson has a beautiful white Hydrangea to plant in her garden! Lisa has plants away to Derrylaughan and there will be some blooming Maghery gardens! Thank you to Chris McCarney LNLP and Mr Mark Convie Whiteisland Nursery for supporting and guiding the children with the project. We hope to have similar events in the future. It’s an experience these kids will never forget.
