Hello champion teachers and principals.
1. Attached is a potential activity for next week which helps parents get their children cycling independently without stabilisers.
It is a simple PDF worksheet with a couple of instructional videos linked.
Most kids learn to ride their bikes between the ages of 4-6, but of course this can happen later for plenty of others.
2. The Big Pedal is coming up after Easter from 19 – 30 April. This is the UKs largest cycling, scooting and walking challenge for schools and is a great way to inspire active travel.

There are loads of prizes and I’ll have a goodie bag for each school who registers for a five day challenge.
As I am not in and out of your school this year, as normal, I am hosting a one hour drop in Zoom session on Wednesday 10th March 2-3pm to answer any questions you may have about Big Pedal.
