As part of our World Around Us topic KS2 have been learning about Space. We made each planet in our solar system using papier mache. Each group had to blow their balloons to a range of different sizes depending on their planet's size. We used books, iPads and posters to research our planet and created a plan for our design. We used newspaper and glue to papier mache the balloons; two layers were needed. Our planets were then painted once they had dried.
