Today we were blessed with beautiful weather for Sports Day 2022. The day began for Primary 4 and 5 with the Tug of War in which the yellow and blue teams were narrowly defeated by the red team. Next up was the 100 m race and relay races which caused great excitement. The Shot putt proved exciting and was eventually won by the blue team. Tension was building with the egg and spoon race and the kickball races.The three legged race proved challenging but provided a lot of laughter.
After lunch we were met with a huge surprise courtesy of Mr Mark Convie who had treated us with the arrival of the icecream van.
In the afternoon we had our finale between the school red, blue and yellow teams cheered on by our parents.
The parents were competitive with the tug of war and relay race.
We finished off with our prize-giving, third place to the yellow team, the silver going to the blue team and the worthy winners being the red.
Well done to all. A super day. Thank you to Mrs Mackle and Mr Donnelly for organising the day accompanied by Dee's Bees.
