Today, Primary 6 and 7 children welcomed Chris McCarney and Rosemary Millar from ABC Council for a second session in preparation for the Young Environment Awards. Their project will involve completing a survey identifying species of butterflies in their gardens or in an outside area. They learned about promoting and protecting butterfly habitats and about how to encourage butterflies into their garden spaces.
