Outdoor Learning in P6/7
20th May 2024
To celebrate Outdoor Learning Week 2024, the Primary 6 and 7 children are taking part in lots of fun lessons outside.
Today, the children furthered their learning on measurements and scale. They used various pieces of mathematical measuring tools to take measurements of the school including the football pitch, eco area, playground and toy shed. They worked in pairs to measure and record their data. We then decided together on what scale we would use to draw our diagram of the school on a sheet of paper. The children used their scale to work out the correct measures of each part of the school for an accurate representation on their diagram.
The results were brilliant!
