Primary 4 and Primary 5 planned a snail experiment. The aim was to find out which materials snails liked and disliked the best. The children made a hypothesis and decided on their method and equipment needed, before collecting their equipment and snail to observe.
They spent the day observing which natural materials the snails navigated towards, and found that smooth surfaces were their material of choice.
It was a brilliant day of observations and catching escaping snails!
