During our Outdoor Learning Numeracy lesson the Primary 4 and 5 children estimated and then measured weights of objects, liquids, distances and times on the field and in the playground.
They were asked to estimate and measure an item of their choice, using the correct units, for each of the following: capacity (ml/l), length (cm/m), mass (g/kg) and time (s/m) and record them into their own, hand drawn, chart.
All the children were engaged throughout the session and showed how successful they can be when working in a team.
