Maths Week 2024 - Day 5 - P1/2
Today was the last day of Maths Week 2024.
We were amazed to see all the fantastic maths hats and the hard work that had gone into creating them at home. The children were delighted to show them off in the maths parade with the other children in the school.
The children then heard the story of Emma and the patterns. There were lots of discussions about the patterns they could see in the classroom.
Next up was some cross curricular maths work on the iPad. The primary 1 children explored shape patterns and the P2 children were ordering number patterns.
The children then had a game of number pass the parcel. They were great at their counting and making sure that the parcel arrived where it was supposed to.
The day ended with the children being presented with some maths week certificates thanks to Miss Robinson.
