Today the Primary 1-2 children continued Maths Week 2024 with the theme of calculations.
The children began the day by showing off their odd socks and discussing the patterns.
The children then heard the story of Seaweed Soup.
Next up was some cross curricular maths work on the iPad. The primary 1 children helped the ladybird to add her spots and the Primary 2 children did some work with money in the toy shop.
The children then became maths engineers and created some towers using different coloured blocks. They explored how adding two numbers made a new number.
