The Wetlands Poetry Project

P5-7 took part in a 4 week poetry programme organised by The Loughshore Family Action Project. The programme focused around life on the loughshore. A very talented poet Martell helped the children use their local environment to collect ideas for their poems.  Children had the opportunity to see Pat in action building and mending his boats in the workshop and we also got a chance to weave on his loom.
