As part of out new topic If you Go Down To The Woods, the children in Primary 1-3 went on a scavenger hunt around Maghery Park to observe and find tress in the local area. They loved looking at all the new buds on the trees and are looking forward to their next walk where they can see how the trees have grown throughout the season.
They then created their own tree art by using the leaves and oil pastels to do some leaf rubbing.
They completed the week with writing wonderful reports about trees.
