Our Clothes must be BRIGHT!
This year we will be holding a ‘Ditch the Darkness’ day in school on Friday 3rd December. Ditch the dark is a campaign ran by Sustrans to educate children on how to keep safe while outside in the darker evenings in Autumn. This year our school council children have decided to use this as a fundraising activity to enable them to purchase a TROCAIRE GIFT for a family in Africa. They have been very pro active on promoting the schools involvement in global perceptive and have asked for each child to contribute £1 to enable their purchase.
Children will be able to wear any bright items of clothing to school on Friday 3rd December. A raffle ticket will be given to each child and a goody bag prize, will be won by 1 child in each class.
