This week, the children at St. Mary’s Primary School have been completing activities do do with the Catholic Schools Week 2024 theme of “Communities of Service”.
Today in assembly, Miss Robinson led all the children in several activities to do with “friendship” and “serving our friends”.
We discussed what a friend is, what makes a good friend, and even stepped outside our own classes to build our friendships with children from other classes. Each of the children were able to learn new things about their friends and shared some of the things that they admired about their friends.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the activities and are looking forward to continuing to explore the Catholic Schools Week theme further this week!
