Primary 5, 6 and 7 travelled to Peatlands Park for a great day out last Tuesday 25th October. The weather was perfect for strolling around looking at and learning about different types of trees. They ended the day gathering soil, acorns and leaves to take back to school for their tree box and chopping fruits and gathering the seeds. Back at school in the afternoon the children filled the tree box with all the things gathered at Peatlands. Now they just have to watch it grow!
